Seattle....

I haven't posted since we left for Seattle. I need to be more on top of this now that we don't live in Utah anymore. Caitibug loves the area, but she misses her friends, of course. If we could just move Katie and Clara here, she'd be 100% bliss. (oh... and of course Suzi because I don't hear enough about how much she LOVES Aunt Suzi) She also misses Aunt Pammy every time we go to school because she thinks the swimming teacher looks like her. Points out the picture every time we walk past it.

We've been getting outdoors a lot up here. Perfect temperatures most of the time. One thing to beware of is that when the sun really comes out, and temps rise above 80 degrees - these people just get mean. They can't take it. Paul says I've already acclimated, so I guess you can tell what the heat did to me. However, Paul has gone from grumpy guy to smiley guy. And is even going to a Tae Kwan Do class twice a week. He's going to take October off from the class since we want to come to Utah for Caitibug's birthday, he's not happy about that.

Caitibug started school at the Family Learning Center. It's a public school that is run like a homeschool co-op. She loves it, but we've already missed two classes only three weeks in. The first day of school we didn't go because they told us that we needed to do the orientation on Wed before going to any classes. So we missed Tuesday, but I guess we were the only ones. Oops. Then, of course, Caitibug has already caught a cold and had to miss school because she was croupy. Hopefully today she'll be well enough to go to her science class and I can get homework from her english teacher. I don't need to worry about music, she gets more than enough music time in her week, and art for that matter. And she is very proud of what an amazing artist she is.

Well... time to wake the family. It's 6:30am - my workout is in and my breakfast and shower is done. Have a great day.
